You guys, I love you all so much that I went to the store and picked this up for you. Do you like it? It’s new No Age, from their upcoming album Everything In Between.
Let this tide you over for now, but just know that we are thinking of you as we cook up some craziness behind the scenes. We’ll make you proud!

I’ve had a rocky ride with Weezer for the past 15 years or so. The thrilling highs, the befuddling lows, and their uncanny ability to do the very thing you least expect them to do at every turn.
Well, they have topped themselves AGAIN, which is staggering after the dog-jumping-across-the-living-room cover of Raditude, and the fact that Rainn Wilson named their last album, and that he named it Raditude, and that Lil Wayne was on the album in a song that Jermaine Dupri co-wrote. Forget all that. The new album is called Hurley (you know, the guy from LOST?), and the album cover is a big, glorious photo of actor Jorge Garcia’s face.
If that’s not mind-boggling enough for you, the lead single, “Memories”, is actually pretty satisfying. Loud, sloppy guitars, scratchy, shouted, emoted vocals, and a searing synthy hook that hearkens back to early b-side “You Gave Your Love to Me Softly.”
You never know what awaits you just around the corner with Weezer, but for now, rejoice in the fact that all the news is great news.

Are you crying yourself to sleep because the summer is basically OVER? (Don’t feel bad, we are too)
Well, Diplo is trying to make you feel better. He just posted a link to this summerific mix at the Mad Decent bandcamp on his twitter. It’ll remind you that, hey, we’ve still got August. Let’s make it last!

Did you love Wale’s Seinfeld Themed Mixtape About Nothing? Well, whatever you thought about Wale’s official debut LP, Attention Deficit, DC’s own is giving the people what they want (Seinfeld mixtapes) on More About Nothing. The mixtape just dropped, and The Fader has the link. I haven’t given it a listen, so let’s explore it together, shall we?

Like the song? The Happy Hollows have posted the track, along with “My Wet Tongue,” on their bandcamp as a digital EP called Spells B-Sides. Pay what you want (ie. between zero and infinity dollars) for the download.
